Woman dressed in a burqa throws a bomb at a security camp in J&K caught on camera

Yesterday evening, a woman wearing a burqa was seen on camera tossing a bomb at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.

The CCTV footage shows the woman pulling over in the middle of the road and going through her pocketbook. She then pulls the bomb from her suitcase and tosses it into the CRPF camp.

Following that, she flees the scene.

The device fell outside the security camp, causing no damage or casualties, according to police, who added that the area was quickly closed off following the incident.

The woman has been recognised, and a big hunt for her is underway. "She will be arrested soon," said Vijay Kumar, Kashmir's Inspector-General of Police.
