Amritsar, Punjab: A church was attacked. A church in Tarn Taran district's Thakkarpura village was attacked. Four masked intruders shattered the religious statues and artefacts. The intruders set fire to the pastor's car, which was parked in the church's courtyard, and then left.

According to police, there were CCTV footages of the violence but no information on the criminals. The attack occurred on Tuesday night. The assailants entered the church after handcuffing the watchman at gunpoint. An inquiry has been initiated by a special police squad. In response to the violence, devotees blocked roadways.
