A Muslim from Shahjahanpur reportedly rapes a teacher and shoots a video to convert her to Islam, say UP Police

According to Shahjahanpur police, a guy raped a 28-year-old government school teacher and videotaped the act in order to blackmail her into changing her faith to Islam and marrying him. The police have charged five persons with violating the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act.

In her May 4 complaint, the woman stated that the accused Amir volunteered to drop her off. They both reside in the same village. She stated that the accused made her smell something. Later, he raped her.

According to Sanjay Kumar, Superintendent of Police (City), the survivor accused Amir's family members of forcing her to convert and marry him.

In the FIR filed on Thursday, the police listed Amir's mother, sister, and relatives. The survivor has been medically examined. The accused have fled. An investigation is now underway.
