CASA got death threats from Islamic extremists for releasing 'Muhammad: the Pocso criminal' short film

In an event related to the dispute over the film Eesho (meaning "Jesus"), a Christian organisation stated that if a film defaming Jesus is published in Kerala, they will make another film on 'Muhammad: the Pocso Criminal'.

Radical Islamists in Kerala have threatened (including death threat) to raise awareness about child molesters. Religious extremists have come out against the short film titled 'Muhammad the Pocso Criminal', released by Christian organisation CASA. Radical Islamists alleged that the short film was aimed at Islam and Muslims and was an attempt to defame the Prophet Muhammad.

If naming a film is about freedom of speech, naming a short film is about the same thing. If Eesho's narrative has nothing to do with Christianity, then the short film Muhammad has nothing to do with any of Islam's idols according to the CASA's viewpoint.

Religious extremists say it is no accident that Casa came up with such a move on the first day of Ramadan. Casa announced 'Muhammad the POCSO Criminal' on Facebook. They explain that theirs is the first short film in a series of awareness films.
