Shehbaz Sharif's first words after becoming Prime Minister

Shehbaz Sharif, president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has been chosen as Pakistan's new prime minister. He became Pakistan's 23rd Prime Minister.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that peace with India is not feasible unless the Kashmir issue is handled.

The artist implies that the 70-year-old leader was more concerned with the Valley than with the problem that his own country is facing.

Pakistan, according to Sharif, would continue to provide "diplomatic and moral support" to the people of Kashmir. "We will raise voice for Kashmiris brothers and sisters at every forum," he stated.

Pakistan's Prime Minister stated that he wanted Narendra Modi to understand that poverty, unemployment, and sickness existed on both sides of the border.

In the meantime, Modi congratulated Sharif on his election as Prime Minister.

"India desires peace and stability in a region free of terror, so that we can focus on our development challenges and ensure the well-being and prosperity of our people," he tweeted.
