Kozhikode Qazi Sayyid Muhammed Koya Thangal Jamalullaili is accused of sexual assault

Kozhikode: A sexual harassment charge has been filed against Kozhikode Qazi Sayyid Muhammed Koya Thangal Jamalullaily. The complaint was made by a Kannur resident. Qazi has been charged by the Kozhikode women's cell police. A Kannur resident has filed a police report claiming sexual molestation at Parappanangadi in Malappuram two years ago.

A rape and intimidation charge has been filed against Qazi Syed Mohammad Koya Thangal under Sections 376 and 506 of the IPC. Qazi had previously intervened to help the woman and her husband to solve issues between them.

The leadership of Qazi also took steps to resolve family difficulties. However, it did not work. Those close to qazi claimed that the woman had a disagreement with qazi and filed a complaint.
