A 13-year-old boy was sexually assaulted; Madrasa teacher arrested

Another madrasa teacher who sexually molested a little child in Thirumitakod has been detained on 23rd August 2022. Faisal was apprehended by Chalissery police in the Vavanoor Kunnumpara compound. Irshad Ali, a teacher at the same school, was arrested in a similar case the day before.

According to the complaint, a student at the Karukaputhur islamic religious school in Tirumitakode panchayat was subjected to unnatural rape on a daily basis. A 13-year-old boy was taken advantage of. The family sought counselling for the boy after seeing an irregularity in his conduct. This is how the abuse information became public. The child's family later filed a complaint with the police. 

On 22nd August, another islamic religious school instructor was detained.Irshad Ali, a Nilgiris Fort local, was arrested by Chalissery police yesterday. According to the allegation, Irshad Ali harassed the minor child on many occasions. Another 14-year-old child was taken advantage of. The authorities are also investigating if other minors at the Islamic religious institution have been subjected to similar sexual harassment.
