10-year-old boy sexually abused; Madrasa teacher sentenced to 20 years in jail

Kannur: A madrasa teacher has been sentenced to twenty years in prison in the case of unnatural torture of a ten-year-old boy.

C Sharafuddin, a native of Kannur Chakarakal Katankode, was convicted by the Thalassery POCSO fast track court.

The verdict is in a case where a child was molested in a religious institution. A case was filed against the accused under various sections including POCSO.
