Snapchat introduces Dynamic Stories to highlight breaking news in Stories
Snapchat has announced the addition of a new Dynamic Stories feature to its Discover feed to promote news and information for users. This feed option will allow users to observe the world's most recent events on the site as they happen.
Stories will be generated by the social media platform based on content produced by verified media publishers and content providers on the Web. Dynamic Stories is now being tested in India, France, the United States, and the United Kingdom, with plans to expand to more nations in the future.
In India, Snapchat will employ RSS feeds from media partners to automatically produce stories for the Snapchat community in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
Snapchat issued a press statement on Tuesday, April 12, announcing the debut of Dynamic Stories. Beginning today, Snapchat subscribers will watch Stories change in real-time in their Discover feeds.
Dynamic Stories will employ RSS Feeds to produce Stories using material that a publisher has already created on the Web. As previously stated, Dynamic Stories will display material in many languages in India, including English, Hindi, and Marathi. The organisation intends to bring on new partners in other languages as well.
Snapchat will first include content from publishers such as GQ India, MissMalini, Pinkvilla, Sportskeeda, The Quint, Times Now, and Vogue India in India.
In the United States, Snapchat has collaborated on content with Axios, Bloomberg, CNN, Complex Networks, Condé Nast (Self, Vogue), ESPN, Insider, New York Post, Page Six, Self, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, TMZ, Vice, and Vogue. In the United Kingdom, media partners include British Vogue, GQ UK, The Independent, and The Mirror.
For Dynamic Stories in France, the social network business is collaborating with Femme Actuelle, Foot Mercato, Gala, GQ France, Le Figaro, Marie Claire FR, Paris Match, and Vogue France.
The social networking site has lately begun testing a number of new features. Snapchat introduced a new feature earlier this month that allows users to post videos directly from the YouTube app. It also added a series of additional parental restrictions to the app, aimed at protecting users between the ages of 13 and 17.
